You KNOW I adore my iPod. I still have CDs...Mike. You KNOW I adore my iPod. I still have CDs but no longer buy them. I still have a ton of LPs in a box and bring them out now and then to luxuriate in the wonderful memories they bring.

BUT. Nothing beats having ALL my music in the palm of my hand to take with me everywhere I do. I have learned my lesson and have it all backed up - twice.

I have my 5,000 most favorite songs and I listen to it at work, while walking and in bed at night (I have an extension on my earbuds cord so I can roll over and they don't even fall out).

Just get one!!!! I even use it to play games (music trivia of course) while waiting in a dr. office or whatever.

Becky - you just need to find a different size of the the little gray things that fit your ear better.

Oh and the gooey remark. Jolie knows this answer! I believe Vitaphone carried this deep message to the world in the early 1900's and now today, I am certain, millions of people are listening to this along with "Old Grandad" by Fats Waller on their iPod's... Ah yes, TECHNOLOGY, the saving grace of our economy and happiness..

Love you with all my heart from your "GOOEY FATHER"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16488273.post-13850024911126301172008-03-20T22:22:00.000-04:002008-03-20T22:22:00.000-04:00Hey...I'm still mourning the loss of LP's! No one...Hey...I'm still mourning the loss of LP's! No one in our family has an iPod or MP3...we are still a CD bunch. Just haven't stepped up to that next level yet. But I'm like you in the fact that I enjoy the tangible in my hands. Maybe because it makes it more interactive.

And hey...are you calling my writing "gooey"?!Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05334129707341089450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16488273.post-11072698408631434082008-03-20T21:18:00.000-04:002008-03-20T21:18:00.000-04:00I JUST bought an iPod last week. I used to read, but sometimes it's too distracting. I'm enjoying the pod so far. The ear-buds are annoying though. They always feel like they're falling out.

If I still lived in Pittsburgh and had my car, I probably wouldn't have bought one.BeckEyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00119780316809151433noreply@blogger.com
